Day after day, year after year, our families witness the transformation of their athlete as they participate in Special Olympics. Families watch with pride as their athlete gains self-confidence, independence and a sense of self-worth that carries over into the athlete’s every day life, whether that be at home, at school, or in the workplace.

For families, victory is not always measured by who crosses the finish line first; sometimes the sweetest victory is the pride in watching their athlete cross the finish line at all.
The Family Giving Challenge, which ends June 15th, is a way for families to give back to the wonderful organization that gives so much to their athlete for free, all year round. The winning family will receive a beautiful placque and be acknowledged in the family newsletter, "The Family Times."
